SPRING LOADED IDLERS - THE NEWS WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! - Our good freind George Robson looked at a "Brand C" spring loaded idler and told us one day that he could design a better one. Did he ever!

George's Corvair spring loaded idler was an immediate hit. Folks with racecars and dunebuggies who could not get a belt to stay on (even when everything else was right) had amazing results with his idler.

These idlers were a great seller for us but when we last called George to get his latest run we were shocked to hear that he had passed away. We honored his wife's request to wait a while to discuss the matter.

Yes, she has sent us the last run of approx 60 units and - And yes, she has transfered all the rights to us and our GoVair line.

For the 40 or so of you who have been patiently waiting for your GoVair spring loaded idler you shouldn't have to wait much longer! We  also have about 20 units extra in this run.

The original machinists apparently don't want to run some of the parts again. That means that we will need to contract out to one of our machinsts. It also may mean the price will go up - But we will see.

While an exclusive product of Corvair Underground's GoVair line, we are renaming the idler as the "Robson Idler" in honor of George.

The remaining 20 or so idlers are for sale either as a basic unit (no bearing or pully installed) for $94.50 or you can order ones complete with a new bearing and a cleaned and painted black pulley installed for $144.50.
